Welcome to the 2024-2025 Residency Interview Season!
 
Thank you for your interest in MSM Residencies and Fellowships. We are accepting applications for PGY-1 positions through ERAS only. All applications should be submitted no later than December 1, 2024 in order to be considered.  
 
Programs will be offering virtual interviews.

Only applications submitted through the will be considered. ERAS庐 opens on July 19th for fellowship programs and September 27th for residency programs. Please see the web page of the program you are interested in for further details. Interview slots fill-up quickly, therefore, it is to your benefit to submit complete applications early. All residency and fellowship programs participate in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) for PGY-1 level resident and fellowship positions.

Eligibility Requirements

  • You must have successfully completed the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) Steps I and II and CS. It is preferred that each exam be taken and passed on the first attempt.  Although we may offer you an interview if your Step 2 or CS scores are not available, you will not be ranked if those scores are not available by the rank submission deadline.
  • You must have a letter from the dean of the medical school where you matriculated.
  • Three letters of professional and/or academic reference are required and only accepted via ERAS庐. The letters must be current as of 18 months prior to being sent to the residency or fellowship program in ERAS庐.
  • Applicants who are graduates of a United States LCME- or AOA-accredited medical school shall provide proof of graduation or pending 鈥渙n-time鈥 graduation. An official transcript, diploma, or 鈥渙n-time鈥 letter must be sent via ERAS庐.
  • Applicants who have not graduated from a United States- or Canadian-accredited medical school shall request certification of completion (by seal) by an official of the medical school. If the medical school is not in the United States, such official letters shall be in English and/or have a certified or notarized English translation of the content.
  • If you are a Non-Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) graduate, you must be Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certified.
  • Programs may establish additional selection criteria, please visit the individual program webpages for this information, specifically for fellowship and public health/preventive medicine programs.

Residents and fellows must be United States citizens, lawful permanent residents, a refugee, an asylee, or must possess the appropriate documentation to legally train in an U.S. ACGME accredited program.  We accept ECFMG sponsored J-1 visas only.
