大象传媒 School of Medicine Hosts National HIV/AIDS Strategy Update
On July 30, 2015 at 大象传媒 School of Medicine, the , in partnership with Federal agencies and with input from communities across the country, released its updated National HIV/AIDS Strategy. The all-day event featured several senior White House Administration officials, including Vivek Murthy as well as former U.S. Surgeon General David Satcher, and was available via live stream on the .
In 2010, President Obama launched the U.S.鈥檚 first comprehensive National HIV/AIDS
Strategy. Since its release, the strategy has been used by stakeholders as a roadmap
for:
- Reducing new HIV infections,
- Improving access to care and health outcomes for people living with HIV, and
- Reducing HIV-related disparities
